Coffee Time.

By now you must have realize my daughter and I love our coffee and love spending time going to get coffee and enjoy our coffee with good conversations and a lot of laughs. So this week instead of driving forty minutes to Starbucks …which my daughter and I love . We decided to go local very local like minutes away from our house so I’m sure or maybe not thinking why drive forty mins when you can drive only several minutes for coffee? I’ll answer anyways , because our local coffee is very expensive but then when you really come down to it , for a forty minute drive using up gas for a dollar less specialty coffee it’s worth paying that dollar more coffee at the local and using less gas unless there is other places we need to go . Their holiday coffees we found out are delicious and use more natural ingredients . My daughter and I ordered a Peppermint Mocha hot coffee with chocolate flavor cream on top and then they drizzled chocolate syrup over it and sprinkled pieces of candy cane over it . It was so delicious! And the coffee shop is so cozy . The bakery goods are delicious and many of but the coffee alone is just enough for us. Will defiantly be going back .

Good Night🌙

the fan is humming it’s the only sound breaking through the quietness in the house tonight my hubby and his fan… the bedroom is darker then usual no light from the moon ,clouds moving in to bring some rain. My daughter is out with a friend and my son is in bed settling his mind down with a hot cup of night time tea . Hubby is fast asleep and I am not 🙂 always… I was just reflecting on the little things I guess when my phone went off a minute ago because my daughter texted me a heart because earlier before she left work she told me she was going to be a bit later she sent me a heart so I sent one back but I guess she was just seeing it and even though she is out with her friend she sent me one back still ❤️ so it got me thinking of how her and I had this special goodnight saying she was the one who thought of it ,it was long and she would say it first then I would repeat it back with her name and it went on for yrs and I always wondered when she would grow out of it . Well it took a class trip in Elementary school that she went on for a week . She was worried she wouldn’t be able to say it so I told her when your all settled in and your ready to fall asleep if you think about it say it to your self your part and when I go to bed I will say my part ….. she. Liked that idea , honestly I do not know if she ever said it to herself that whole week . I never asked because when she came home she never ask to say it just said good night … hmm funny what you can remember and still can tug at your heart… my son was more simple it was ,have sweet dreams then a hug .. hmm how I miss all those moments ..at the time it was just second nature what we did . Now its missing memories .. oh the simple things we can take for granted but then when time passed it’s really becomes a big thing and means everything. So tonight when I say my prayers as I drift off to sleep tonight I will make sure to add a thank you to god for all these simple blessings I believe I have thanked him for all these blessing but I think I need to thank him again especially about the little things . ❤️

Moments…

Good Morning ! Enjoying my coffee and happily another morning of sometime with my son, he’s not a big talker well not at home at school he is but that’s always the way when your a teenager. He had good run may have made it to All States will find out today he missed it by a second in one race that he ran. Very proud of him.

Back tracking : last night when he arrived home , if you read my last post he had a track meet 3hrs away ,my hubby and I couldn’t make it so we waited for him to come home my hubby caved into sleep , of course I was up ..in bed but awake. He arrived after midnight and I heard him come in so I looked down our hall and could see him peeking out the door …hmm I’m like what is he doing ? Next minute he shuts the door locked it turned the kitchen light off and walking faster then normal down the hall to his room he spots me looking at him he says “oh your awake I’m scared” I’m like what! He tells me that as he got out of the car and walking up to our house he heard this screaming crying howling noise I’m like oh the boys are out (coyotes) I call them the boys. I asked if they where in our woods he said that he was trying to figure that out but wasn’t sure he said close ..maybe ?The most eerie sound of the wild to hear if their hunting it sends chills up your spine . After that I just let him get some sleep. and I did as well . Then this morning it was just him and I before he went to school so that was nice . Like I said before ,few and far between the moments with him. Now all is quiet everyone’s at work and school and I’m catching up on the news.. sad once again today .. my heart is breaking for all those angels and their families In Florida .😥 never take any thing or anyone for granted that is why even if I have only moments here and there with my children who are always on the go I will take that . It’s all special to me . So hug your kids tell them you love them everyday.❤️ with that it’s time to get busy myself do somethings around the house . Have a great day everyone.
